The Brief
Fatima lives in a rented flat in East London. She'd been told by her landlord: no wallpaper, no nails, no permanent changes. For two years, she'd lived with bare magnolia walls and felt like a guest in her own home. She wanted a statement — something bold — without losing her deposit.
The Vision
A deep, moody feature wall behind her bed. She'd seen sage green and forest tones all over her feed and wanted something that felt dramatic but still calm. The plan: paint the one wall she was allowed to touch (confirmed with her landlord), then build a gallery arrangement on it using damage-free hanging strips.
The Transformation
The wall was painted in a deep sage green (Dulux Aloe Vera). Using picture-hanging strips, Fatima built a curated gallery of five framed prints from Nur & Form — a mix of geometric and abstract designs in warm neutrals and gold. The arrangement was planned on the floor first, then transferred to the wall. The result: a wall that looked like it had been designed by an interior stylist.
